Flenker Bau increases order volume thanks to DINO VARIO
With the DINO VARIO, our customers Flenker Bau GmbH from Schwentinental have significantly optimized their work processes – and not just in the area of civil engineering, but also in challenging building construction projects.
A challenge on the fifth floor – solved with vacuum power
Recent construction work in the center of Kiel saw the removal a false ceiling on the fifth floor of an apartment building. Instead of laborious manual work, the DINO VARIO was used to great effect: the construction debris was vacuumed directly through a 38-meter-long suction hose – clean, quick and without causing any dust. All this was made possible by our powerful filter system, which keeps the air clean and protects the environment.
The result: half the personnel requirement and twice as fast. In an era of shortages of skilled workers, Managing Director Patrick Bührsch sees this as being a clear advantage. The use of the DINO VARIO also pays off economically – through shorter construction times and less follow-up work.
A flexible suction excavator
The DINO was originally purchased by Flenker Bau for civil engineering purposes – particularly for sensitive applications near supply lines. And this is an area in which it offers another advantage: materials can be removed both accurately and safely with the suction excavator, instead of accidentally damaging supply lines. The suction excavator is also used regularly in order to protect root systems in inner-city areas. “The number of tenders in which suction excavators are required is increasing noticeably”, reports Bührsch. Right now, around 80% of the company’s operations are carried out in sensitive areas that are difficult to access – a clear competitive advantage.
Future-proof through specialization
Since the acquisition of the suction excavator in 2021, Flenker Bau’s list of orders has significantly increased. “The DINO VARIO has been running flawlessly for three years. And if we have any questions, the MTS service team is available to help us out quickly and professionally.” A second suction excavator is already in the planning stage – a clear sign of how much its investment in modern technology has paid off for Flenker Bau.
